Snowflakes Up Close
How would you describe snowflakes? White? Fluffy? One photographer calls them natural works of art! Nathan Myhrvold designed a camera with a microscope that can take close-up pictures of tiny snowflakes. He spent 18 months perfecting the camera. It can capture clear photos of the six-sided crystals before they melt.
“I hope these photos show people that there’s beauty in things they can’t see with the naked eye,” Myhrvold says.
