What’s Rover Watching?

Imagine your dog got its paws on the remote. What would it watch? A new study may have the answer.

Scientists at the University of Wisconsin-Madison set out to find the best way to test dogs’ eyesight. They thought videos might hold pups’ attention long enough to check their vision.

The researchers surveyed more than 1,200 dog owners. They were asked about the types of shows their four-legged friends liked most.

It turns out that pooches like watching animals—especially dogs! They also like nature shows. But pups are much less interested in seeing humans on screens.
