A new airline took to the skies in May. Passengers were treated to scented cushions for napping, tasty snacks, and . . . belly rubs?! Welcome to BARK Air, the first airline created for dogs.

Many airlines allow pups to fly. But most require people to keep small dogs in carrier bags. Bigger canines must travel in crates in the plane’s cargo section.

On BARK Air, dogs of any size can sit right next to their human companions. They can also walk around the cabin.

You’ll need to save up if you want to fly with Fluffy though. A ticket for one pooch and its human starts at $3,000.
