What has big eyes, pointy teeth, and rabbit ears—and has taken the world by storm? It’s Labubus! The grinning monsters were created by artist Kasing Lung. Chinese toy company Pop Mart began selling Labubus in 2019. Today everyone from pop stars to schoolkids has the toys clipped to their bags.
In June, a rare Labubu sold in China for about $170,000. You won’t see it hanging from anyone’s backpack though. It’s more than 4 feet tall!
